Ironman Mont Tremblant

The World Class Resort Village of Mont Tremblant, located in the majestic Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, welcomes the 2nd annual North American IRONMAN Championships. August 18th 2013!

Participants start the 2.4-mile (3.8 km) swim in Tremblant Lake, leading to a quarter-mile run to T1 lined by the traditional IRONMAN red carpet and cheering spectators. The two-loop, 112-mile (180 km) bike course runs through the Mont-Tremblant forests and mountains, offering challenging elevations and spectator friendly vantage points. The two-loop, 26.2-mile (42.2 km) run course takes full advantage of the Le P'tit Train du Nord, a former railway bed transformed into the longest linear park in Canada. The crushed gravel is soft on the feet and lined with enthusiastic spectators, the route takes runners alongside Tremblant Lake and into the heart of the pedestrian village of Tremblant to the much sought after finish line.

The inaugural IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant, held on August 19, 2012, received rave reviews from the participants, their families, the community and organizers alike. Many favorable comments were posted by the local media such as, Mont-Tremblant surpassed expectations this summer and offered a warm welcome to the entire IRONMAN community, providing a superb set-up with activities for participants and supporters alike.
