RESERVATION POLICY

General Rules
All rental units are privately owned vacation homes. We encourage you to enjoy your stay but we ask that you treat with respect, the premises and the contents. All towels are the property of the unit owner and shall not be taken out of the premises. We do want to return your deposit!

Security Deposit
A security deposit of $750.00 is required. The deposit will be taken one day before arrival on the same card as payment. The deposit will be returned 7 days after departure, less any fees, damages, or unpaid long-distance calls. In the event any damages exceed the $750.00 deposit, the balance will be taken from the credit card on file.

Currency
All funds quoted on the web site and other Chez Tremblant pieces of literature are in Canadian funds. All applicable taxes will be applied.

Check-In and Check-Out
Check- in is no earlier than 4:00 pm and check out is no later than 11:00 am.

Telephone Charges
All local calls are free of charge. Direct dialed long-distance calls are blocked on most telephones in many of the units. If this is the case, then a calling card will not work. To make long-distance calls you may find it necessary to use your cell phone. Any long-distance charged to the owner's telephones shall be charged to the guest plus a $ 50.00 administration fee.

Swimming Pools / Lakefront Properties
Many of the units have swimming pools and some are lakefront properties. In many cases, there is no lifeguard on duty. To ensure the safety of all our guests we must insist that small children are accompanied by an adult at all times near the pool or lake. Neither the Owner nor Chez Tremblant assumes any liability whatsoever for any injuries, accidents or fatalities resulting from use of pool facilities or lakes. Rules of the individual condo developments must be obeyed.

Smoking, Marijuana or vaping
All units are smoke-free. Smoking is not allowed in any of the units. No exceptions. Smoking is also prohibited within a 9-meters radius from any door, window capable of being opened, and home air intake system. Offenders will be fined $100.00

Housekeeping / Cleaning
Cleaning rvice is supplied after your stay; there is no daily cleaning service during your stay. Bed linens and towels are supplied for all private condominiums and chalets. For longer stays, full housekeeping service will be provided every 7 days which includes: sheets and towel changes, vacuuming, and garbage removal at your expense. Additional housekeeping services can be provided at an additional cost. Please ask for details. Daily tidying of the kitchens is the responsibility of the guest. Kitchens are equipped with pots, pans, dishware, coffee maker and appliances including a washer and dryer. After check out, housekeeping will do the laundry and final cleaning. Guests may launder their linen during the week in the washer / dryer in the unit. Detergent is to be supplied by the guest.

Fireplace
Artificial logs may be purchased at numerous stores in the village. Please ensure that the chimney flue is open before lighting a fire in the fireplace and well primed.

Electricity
Please note that we are not responsible for temporary interruptions of electricity, telephone, water or cable services

Limit of Liability
Chez Tremblant acts as an agent for property owners and accepts no liability on their behalf. Chez Tremblant reserves the right to transfer guests to an equivalent accommodation if the reserved property becomes unavailable. Prior notification may not be possible. Maximum legal capacity must be respected at all times. Failure to respect legal capacity will incur a fee of $ 50.00 + taxes per person per night which will be deducted from your security deposit. Immediate relocation of the extra people will occur at their expense.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to confirm a reservation. Visa, MasterCard or E Transfer from Canada are accepted. The deposit is refundable if a notice of cancellation is received at least 21 days before the date of arrival, an administration fee of $50 + taxes will be applied. If the reservation is canceled less than 21 days before the date of arrival, the full amount paid for the reservation is non-refundable. Please note that there are no reimbursements for late arrivals, early departures or other services otherwise missed. The final payment will be taken on the same credit card as the 50% initial deposit 20-30 days before the date of arrival.
